I stumbled across the Photochallenge.org Flickr group a few months ago… sounded like a cool idea. And then I kinda forgot about it, ran out of time, you can add other usual excuses here. Anyways, started seeing a few cool pictures of light fixtures on a couple of my contacts streams. Turns out, the July Photochallenge is lights!

For July, I want you to go out there and shoot all the lighting fixtures that you can find. Shoot desk lamps and floor lamps. Shoot street lights and head lights. Shoot flood lamps and brake lights.

Thought I’d get in on this one, a different light shot every day – should be fun! Took a few last night, narrowed it down to three, ended up with the one you see below. I’ll likely post the other two later as outtakes/rejects.
